started 31 years ago, with Denis' burning desire to have a dog when he was a young boy. But his parents didn't share this
desire... so he decided to save the money of his own and after three years of saving, at the age of 14 he purchased his
first collie - sable male puppy named "Mond of Cujana Lascinskog". This lovely lad was shown locally, and he did well, but
soon Denis realised that he's not exactly what collie should be... however Mond was extremely intelligent dog, a great companion
and with him started Denis' a lifelong interest in Rough Collies.

In 1982. Denis purchased first bitch, sable Ch.Anda, bred on Mamive line (Famous kennel at that time) and she turned out to be a great winner at all show levels, winning in
breed rings as well as in the group rings. She was TOP COLLIE 1983. Anda
was a great dam producing champions and become foundation bitch for Dennisay's and certainly made her mark for the breed history
as well...
Two years later, 1984,
a very first, gorgeous litter was born under Dennisay's prefix - Ch. Anda was mated with Duke Sam v. Orankesse (a
lovely dog bred on old Dunsinane & Rokeby lines) and produced three champions out of five puppies. From
that litter one puppy bitch stayed at home and become Denis' first home bred champion - JWorld. Yu. Ch. Dennisay's Nelandina Semitta.
Not "bad start" - Denis
was only 18 years "old"...

In 1987 the first tricolour was imported - the most outstanding, Multiple Ch. Bijou, Conde v. Orankesee, "Biji" (bred on old Rokeby & Dunsinane lines). "Biji" was another great winner, he won numerous CC's,CACIB's,BOB's,
he was multiple BIG's, and r. BIS winner and
TOP DOG '87,'88,'89. He was also remarkable sire of
numerous champions in all three colours, he can be found in many pedigrees in almost all kennels in our country
and for sure he made his stamp in the breed...

In 1988. Ch. Anda produced another great litter of nine puppies, this time was mated with Ch. Bijou,
Conde v. Orankesee. That litter was also very successful - most of the pups become CC, CACIB winners later on, but one
of them become one of the most successful home bred collies in our country - outstanding sable dog Int.A.Hr.Yu.Ch. Dennisay's Forgery, "Io", was TOP COLLIE 1990.
Later on, Denis purchased another tricolour
dog from Mr. Willi Pietsch (Orankesee kennels), Ch. Larry Conde v. Orankesee, another BIG winner.
In 1992 Jadranka joined Denis as a life partner & fellow breeder with
her own prefix GEANTLES.

During the war time in Croatia they both kept on breeding(!)
and
1993 another litter was born. Dam was imported blue bitch Silver Dream Blue Me who was mated with Ch. Steadlyn
Skywriter, at that time not shown, young blue dog.

months under breed specialist Mrs. Stella Clark, UK.

As a great winner himself he did what collie never managed
in our country before - he won BEST IN SHOW at an allbreed ch. show, and become our first BIS winner.
He was TOP COLLIE '94.'95,'96.

"Gary" and "Cleo" produced together
blue/tri litter of eight puppies and from that litter another record breaker was born - a superb blue bitch Bundesiegerin (A)'99,'00,Int.A.Hr.Slo.Ch. Geantles Libertine,
"Libby", well known winner in & outside Croatia and so far one and only collie bitch who won BEST IN SHOW at
an allbreed ch. show. She was also runner up at the Euro dog show in Genova, Italy and TOP COLLIE
'98.'99,'00.

In 1995 a lovely male puppy came along, sable Int.RSM.Slo.Hr.Ch. Steadlyn The Proclaimer, "Bonno" (by: Steadwyn Stagecraft - ex: Steadlyn Candy Love, fullsister of Int.N.Dk. Steadlyn Ravishing Saga) who become another great
sire as well as a show dog, also BEST IN SHOW winner and TOP DOG '97.

International champion. She is resting from the shows now and playing and running "as a puppy" with her kennelmates...
